Nettel is the first company in America to offer unlimited long distance service from USA to Canada for a fixed monthly fee. Nettel first introduced its services in Oregon in 1999, and soon thereafter completed building the first private VOIP nationwide network. Nettel's phone-to-phone service utilizes Internet protocol to conveniently and inexpensively place ordinary phone calls around the world. Phone-to-phone calls placed through Nettel's network originate and terminate on the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), but travel primarily over the company's IP network. The fixed-fee billing system avoids uncertainty, as the charge is the same every month, regardless of the number of calls made. In addition, customers can expect to enjoy considerable savings over traditional long distance companies, and the quality is excellent.

Nettel will continue to take advantage of emerging technologies for the benefit of its customers.
