FUZION WIRELESS EXPANDS ITS BROADBAND NETWORK INTO CANADA.

Fuzion Wireless Communications, Inc., Boca Raton, Fla., a provider of fixed wireless broadband services has launched its network into Ontario, Canada. Serving the businesses in Toronto and other locations in Ontario, Fuzion will deliver high-performance Internet connectivity at speeds from 500 kilobits per second to 45 megabits per second, speeds several hundred times faster than traditional dial-up access.

"Ontario now has access to one of the world's most technologically advanced broadband networks," said David Frank, president of Fuzion Wireless Communications, Inc.

Fuzion delivers its customers to the Internet via a subscriber unit that mounts to the customer's rooftop and sends data signals wirelessly to one of Fuzion's base hubs. The signal is then transferred to a fiber optic backbone of the Internet. Utilizing wireless telecommunications switching gear and radio equipment, Fuzion bypasses the traditional local loop associated with the incumbent local exchange carriers.

Fuzion's broadband network enables companies to access bandwidth-intensive services such as video-conferencing, streaming media, interactive remote applications and data networking.

Additionally, Fuzion offers complete service upgrade opportunities to its client base, allowing a customer's bandwidth to grow with his business.

"A customer may only require two megabits of service today," said Jeff Boyce, vice president and general manager of Fuzion Canada. "However, as the business relies more heavily on the timely transmission of data and the ability to navigate the Internet quickly, this same customer may require triple the amount of bandwidth as originally subscribed. Fuzion has the ability to ramp-up bandwidth promptly at the customer's request."
