ERICSSON UNVEILS NEW IP-BASED SYSTEM TELEPHONE.(Product Announcement)

Ericsson has introduced the latest addition to its terminal portfolio, the Dialog 3413 IP phone. The IP phone is developed so that it can be used with several of Ericsson's enterprise systems, like WebSwitch, MD110, BusinessPhone and GSM on the Net.

The Dialog 3413 IP phone converts voice into data packets that are compatible with an IP telephony. New features can be added as needed with software downloads from a server. Furthermore the IP phone is compatible with all H.323 v2 compliant systems. In addition, the easy-to-view, alphanumeric LCD display keeps users informed about ongoing calls and messages. Interactive soft-keys offer several function options that can guide the user through the phone operations in a choice of several languages. The Dialog 3413 IP phone is a full speakerphone with a built-in microphone and speaker, adjustable ringing signals and 20 programmable feature buttons.

As customers begin the deployment of Ericsson's Dialog 3413 IP phone, Enterprise customers will get a highly reliable solution that can be easily managed as a single integrated system - even with users spread across several remote locations, such as branch offices and home workers.

The Dialog 3413 IP phone offers new capabilities and services that enhance employee productivity, lower the total cost of ownership and offer a high of level voice quality.

Unlike other H.323 compatible phones on the market, the Dialog 3413 IP phone can support most switchboard functions which an average user needs, such as redialing and call-forwarding.
