SYLANTRO'S COMRIO MAKES ANY PHONE YOUR BUSINESS PHONE.(Product Announcement)


Sylantro Systems Corp., Campbell, Calif., supplier of the industry's premier applications-enabled softswitch for delivery of managed telephony services has released its latest application module, ComRIO (Remote Instant Office), which introduces presence management into Sylantro's award-winning suite of managed telephony applications. ComRIO allows business users with access to a browser to use the features of their Sylantro-powered business services and establish their system presence at any directly accessible telephone or mobile phone, from any location worldwide -- just as if the user were working in their own office.

With ComRIO, a browser and a dialable phone, any environment can become an impromptu office. For example, a business user in a remote location can access all of the business phone's call logs, including missed calls, as well as company and personal directories, from any offsite location using a browser. Incoming calls to the office phone are instantly routed directly into the remote phone. ComRIO completes the transformation by forwarding the business phone's caller ID -- not the remote phone's -- when outbound calls are made, to promote a professional image and protect privacy. ComRIO extends one-number portability and value far beyond any currently available product or service on the market.

Service providers, including CLECs, ILECs and others, can offer ComRIO as an option to their customers, enabling business users to leverage the intuitive, browser-based features and settings that are included in Sylantro's award-winning Communications Suite. With Sylantro's intuitive portal design, users can quickly and easily e-provision ComRIO on a temporary or permanent basis via any browser.
