Delphi Telematics Unit Expects Sustained Growth.(Delphi Automotive Systems Corp.)(Brief Article)

Delphi Automotive Systems Corp. said its automotive multimedia unit, which makes wireless networks, navigation systems, and other technology-based items for use by drivers, will launch 18 new products in 2001 and 2002.

Delphi said its mobile multimedia unit is currently working with nine automakers, including Toyota Motor Corp., Honda Motor Co., and General Motors Corp. "Growth is expected to continue annually" at the multimedia unit, which reported $322 million in sales for 2000, the company said in a statement.
