Over the past several days, Schneider said Security University had
experienced an increase in registration for its courses, many of which
serve as part of the curriculum leading to AIS security certification.
"Most of the inquiries are coming from enterprises that
realize they must now plan new security measures addressing potential
assaults and increased Internet security requirements," said the
18-year information security industry veteran who has been traveling the
world training network professionals in advanced network security
technologies. She specializes in network perimeter security,
vulnerability auditing, intrusion detection, advanced authentication and
PKI systems, and broadband networks.
Advanced Information Security (AIS) certification results from a
series of advanced hands on courses designed to improve the network
security infrastructure of corporations and organizations. After
completing all courses, the network security professional will have an
advanced understanding of how to protect electronic assets, and the
critical paths to that information, from attack.
