Visteon and Boston Acoustics To Jointly Develop Premium Sound System For Vehicles.(Brief Article)

Visteon Corp. said that it has signed a multi-year joint development agreement with Boston Acoustics to deliver premium audio systems to select vehicle manufacturers. Under terms of the agreement, Visteon said will combine its extensive in- vehicle acoustics, electronics and systems integration expertise with Boston Acoustics' high-performance sound to deliver advanced audio systems for vehicle applications. Additionally, Visteon will provide Boston Acoustics with Tier-1 program management and vehicle manufacturer qualification experience to serve the automotive manufacturer market, Visteon said.

"This agreement will help us provide vehicle manufacturers with the opportunity to deliver the Boston Sound to their customers with a custom-fit directly from the factory," said John Slosar, Director of North American/Asian Telematics/Multimedia Product Development for Visteon
