BMW selected Modine Manufacturing Co. to provide engine cooling modules for future vehicle programs, resulting in $135 million in annual revenue, according to Modine. Modine said it has been a long-standing development partner of BMW.
Modine's said its Wackersdorf, Germany facility currently supplies just-in-sequence cooling modules to BMW. The new modules will include a number of products from Modine plants in Europe, including, Pliezhausen (Germany), Pontevico (Italy), Berndorf (Austria), and Uden (Netherlands), the company said.
Final assembly of the engine cooling modules will occur at Modine's Wackersdorf facility in Bavaria, the company said.
