The Mechatronic Systems Group of Delphi Automotive has awarded Ami Doduco a contract to develop and produce electrical contact component subassemblies for a multi-purpose module that controls automotive flashers, turn signals and windshield wipers, Ami Doduco said.
Mounted on the steering column, the Delphi module will debut with a leading European automaker during the 2002 model year, the company said. Ami Doduco will supply component sub-assemblies consisting of precision-stamped electrical contact parts insert-molded into plastic frames.
"We are pleased to be a strategic development partner for Delphi Mechatronic, a company well-known for innovative products," said Lothar Alt, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Ami Doduco in northern Europe.
