American Transport System Corp. Enters Deal With Philippines Bus Producer.(Brief Article)

Francisco Motor Corp., a wholly-owned Filipino motor vehicle assembler, has signed a three-year, $152 million contract with Illinois-based American Transport System Corp. (ATSC) for the production of Blue Bird Bus chassis and bus bodies for local distribution.

ATSC is the exclusive distributor of the American Blue Bird bus products in the Philippines. The company said it will make the chassis parts available in March, with fully built up vehicles to come on the market six months later.
