GenCorp's GDX Unit Get New Ford, GM

GDX Automotive, an operating unit of GenCorp Inc., said that it
has been awarded new business on two major North American vehicle
platforms: General Motors has awarded GDX Automotive the design and
production of the glass run system on a major small car platform and
Ford has awarded GDX Automotive the design and production of the glass
run and body sealing system for a premier sport utility program.
Together these awards represent nearly $450 million over the life of the
programs.
According to Mike Bryant, president of GDX Automotive, "These
awards demonstrate our customers' ongoing commitment and confidence
in our ability to design and produce state of the art vehicle sealing
systems."
