TI Automotive, a supplier of fluid storage and delivery systems, said it has been awarded a contract to provide fuel lines for several future full-sized General Motors vehicles. Production for up to 200,000 fuel-line systems annually will take place at the company's Mexico City plant.

The fuel lines are designed to meet existing LEV II emissions requirements and will contain Algal tubing, TI connectors and multi-layer hose.

The new contract supplements existing TI Automotive brake- and fuel-line business with General Motors, according to Rob Crawford, vice president for the brake and fuel group.
