April 23. "HR Dilemmas in Executive Coaching." Robert E. Chappell, Chairman & CEO, Penn Mutual Life Insurance; Michael Biondolillo, Sr. Vice President, HR, Penn Mutual; and Steve Krupp, Managing Vice President, Right Management, share their perspectives on the business value proposition and the HR role for executive coaching investments. May 21. "Human Capital Measurement Strategic Insights." Presenter: Joanne Hutcheson, Vice President, HR, Delaware Investments. By conducting human capital measurement, you can gain insights that will impact the strategies you choose in addition to the effective use of your resources. In this exciting corporate life story, learn how Delaware Investments measured their human capital using the methods discussed by Jeanne DiFrancesco in our May 2001 program and what they learned from the results.

June 12. "Applied Research Committee Report." Presented by The PHRPG Applied Research Committee. This year the Applied Research Committee has gathered and analyzed information on the actual role of HR and the HR leader in the Delaware Valley's major corporations. Where is HR playing a strategic partner/change agent, employee champion and/or administrative expert role and what experience and development has prepared the HR leaders for those roles? What other demographic factors, if any, impact the role HR plays?
