FRONTPAGE SERVER EXTENSIONS DEBUT FOR IBM ESERVER SUSE LINUX.

Feb 1, 2004

Under a recent agreement signed with IBM, Ready-to-Run Software (RTR) has introduced the latest Microsoft(R) FrontPage(TM) Server Extensions for the IBM eServer products with SuSE(R) Linux(R). IBM, a global leader in information technology, added support for the widely distributed web- publishing application as part of its continuing Linux initiative and in recognition of the broad needs of its eServer customers.

Ready-to-Run Software, under a separate contract with Microsoft Corp., provides ongoing engineering, maintenance and related support services for the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions within non-Windows configurations.

Jeff Moskow, CEO of RTR, stated: "IBM came to us out of a desire to meet the needs of their customers. With Linux continuing to grow across the entire eServer product line, IBM also wanted to insure that the server extensions would properly execute on the zSeries, pSeries and iSeries platforms and that their customers would be supported. As the sole provider of the UNIX & Linux versions of the FrontPage Server Extensions since Microsoft first shipped FrontPage, RTR is pleased to support IBM in this endeavor and to announce that the extensions for SuSE Linux on IBM eServer have been released for general availability."
