Most convenient products.

The list of top-of-mind, most convenient products is a composite picture of our times. Running water was the only one of the long-taken-for-granted conveniences that anyone cited. (Deeper into the summer, we would probably have heard more about air conditioning and electricity.)

Multi-citations:

* Bagged salad

* Carry-carts & devices

* Cooked chicken

* Frozen foods

* High speed Internet

* Milk and Milk Chugs

* Soups (microwavable and pop-top cans)

* Swiffer

* Takeout/any food I can open and eat

* USPS Click 'n Ship (from home)

* Wipes--all kinds

Interesting single citations included automated postal machines, disposable toilet bowl cleaning pads, frozen meals and frozen pizza, Google, Game Boy, geographic positioning systems, instant messaging, junk foods, microwavable macaroni and cheese, no-lick stamps, Palm Pilot, post office shipping from home, shelf-stable milk, TvVo, and tuna in pouches. Carry carts and devices cover our entire lifespan, ranging from baby strollers to assisted walking devices designed for elderly walkers. Both now come equipped with spaces and holders for things that we need to take along.

Happy Summer! Mona Doyle
