Takeda Research Investment, Inc. (TRI), based in Palo Alto, California, has made a strategic equity investment of $5 million in Xenon Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Vancouver, Canada). The companies have agreed that TRI will receive a Right of First Negotiation to select atherosclerosis discoveries made by Xenon.
