Inspired by the doctors she works around, a Henry Ford Health
System employee has painted a tiger sculpture in surgical motif as part
of a local charity event. The cute, colorful sculpture, dubbed Dr.
McRoary, was on display in front of the hospital through June 25.
Herring's design is among 81 tiger sculptures being painted by
local artists and other creative types for the Children's Charities
Coalition, an Oakland County organization that supports the needs of
children in our community. The 81 sculptures were auctioned off June 28,
with proceeds benefiting the coalition.
