RTE Business reports that the Northern Ireland dairy business Dale Farm has expanded its business in the Republic of Ireland through its acquisition of Superchill, which distributes ice cream products, including such brands as Cadbury, Mars, Nestle, and Haagan-Dazs, across the northwest of Ireland. The price of the purchase has not been disclosed, but it is known Superchill has an annual turnover from ice cream sales of well over C1 million ($1.39 million). Superchill, which was a subsidiary of Breeo Foods, has distribution centers in Galway and Letterkenny and employs six people, who will be retained.
