In July, Applied Biosystems announced the promotion of Mark P.
Stevenson, president of the Molecular and Cell Division, to executive
vice president. In addition to his current position, he assumed
responsibility for the Applied Markets and Services Divisions and
additional functions. The Molecular and Cell Division was divided into
two divisions: MCB Systems and MCB Consumables.
