PA senate majority leader Pillegi visits John C. Leo
& Son Farm.
PA Sen. Dominic F. Pillegi (R-9) recently toured the John C. Leo
& Son Farm in Oxford, PA. Ed and Dan Leo and Bob Canterera hosted
the farm tour and showed the visitors through the modern growing
facility. They also explained the complex growing process to Sen.
Pillegi and about 30 senate staff members, many of whom had never been
to a mushroom farm. Ron Kepler, Lower Oxford Township Supervisor,
attended as well as Buster Needham, Needham Mushroom Farm and Jerry
Yeatman, C.P. Yeatman & Son. Sen. Pillegi's visit was part of a
September bus trip to farms and a vineyard in Chester County, PA.
