New national technology benchmark for chemical technology.

Throughout 2007, the CSCT board has been directly involved in the structure and content of the new National Technology Benchmark (NTB) for the chemical technology discipline.

Beginning January 1, 2008, the educational agencies will be able to use the NTB to develop programs and obtain invaluable feedback as to the significance of the curriculum. It stems from an innovative partnership launched in October 2006 by the Canadian Technology Accreditation Board through the Canadian Council of Technicians and Technologists and the National Council of Deans of Technology.
