INTRODUCTIONS
CONTINUING ITS collaboration with renowned German brass instrument
maker Walter Nirschl, Gemstone Musical Instruments will launch several
new additions to its W. Nirschl line of brass instruments, including a
cornet, flugelhorn, euphonium, tubas, and marching brass.
"The new additions to the W. Nirschl brass line are really
outstanding," said Richard Barth, director of Brass Division for
Gemstone. "The cornet and flugelhorn are professional instruments
at a great price, and the low and marching brass give us an opportunity
to provide even more options for brass players--especially for schools
that require quality instruments at the right price."
The new brass offering consists of a professional shepherd's
crook cornet, a professional flugelhorn, a fully automatic compensating
euphonium, a 3/4 tuba, a powerful marching mellophone, and a large bore
marching euphonium. Dealers and players can see the new products at the
2007 Midwest Clinic in Chicago and 2008 NAMM convention in Anaheim.
