Award-winning ZZYZX Snap Jack cable: Jodavi.

Music Trades • Feb, 2008 • NEW PRODUCTS: THE LATEST AND GREATEST IN NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTIONS

JODAVI, INC., INTRODUCED its innovative ZZYZX Snap Jack cable to the U.S. at the 2007 summer NAMM show in July. The patented Snap Jack cable uses OFC high quality helical braided shield cables and neodymium magnets with gold-plated contacts. In addition to noise-free dynamic sound, Snap Jack magnets allow for quick detachment when cable is subjected to extensive tension, reducing the risk of personal injury and damage to guitars, cables, and amplifiers. The Snap Jack is also free of obnoxious popping or screeching noises when plugging or unplugging the cable while amplifier is on. This feature provides for a quick transition for players to switch to other guitars. By utilizing the extra jack tips, multiple guitar players are able to switch instruments without hassle.

"Through precision engineering and manufacturing techniques, Jodavi has finally managed to eliminate the popping noise when the jack is pulled," says Sales & Marketing Director Diane Nguyen. "This product utilizes a two-part jack design. Each half has a magnet that corresponds to the other piece. So, when you go to plug into your amp, the magnets just snap together with no annoying pop. And because of this feature and utilizing the extra tips, multiple guitar players can switch guitars in a snap."

Jodavi, Inc., first introduced the Snap Jack at the Musikmesse Frankfurt show in Germany in April 2007. It is now distributed in 23 countries. It was recognized as "Best In Show" and the winner of the "Gotta Stock It" category at last year's summer NAMM, and has been nominated for Best Guitar Accessory in this year's Music & Sound Awards. Snap Jack cables are available in 15-and 20-foot lengths on the straight and angle cables. Cables come with extra Snap Jack tips, which are also sold separately. Fifteen-foot cable retails for $53; a 20-foot cable is $57; and a package of two extra tips is $29.
