INTRODUCTIONS
REGAL TIP, one of the world's leading drumstick companies,
will be officially celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 2008. Fifty
years ago Joe Calato began selling his new nylon tip drumstick. Joe and
his wife, Kay, never imagined that this invention would be the start of
a company that would become a leading designer and manufacturer of
drumsticks, brushes, mallets, and a huge variety of percussion
accessories.
The company is still owned and operated by the Calato family, still
manufacturing all of its own products in Niagara Falls, New York, and
still designing and innovating. The tradition of innovation continues
with Joe Calato's daughters, Cathy and Carol Calato.
To celebrate the company's anniversary, Regal Tip will be
running contests on its website, www.regaltip.com.
