Time mag reports on music boom.
The skyrocketing surge of musical activity in the United States
since the end of World War II burst into the pages of Time magazine,
with notable emphasis on the enormous participation of others. The
article depicted fully the far-ranging and pervasive influence of music
on post-war life in America. The Time article points out that rather
than turning into passive receiving sets lulled asleep by waves of
recorded music, Americans have turned to active participation in music
with a vengeance.
