Caffe Culture will host the UK finals of the Specialty Coffee
Association of Europe's (SCAE) World Championships.
Entrants for the SCAE UK's World Latte Art, World Coffee in
Good Spirits and World Cupping competitions will battle it out
throughout the two-day event to secure their place at the SCAE World
Championships, June 19-22nd in Copenhagen. Visitors to the Caffe Culture
2008 will have the opportunity to enjoy the competition first hand as
entrants perform a serious of barista skills and tasting tests live in
stage.
The partnership between the two organizations will also see Caffe
Culture play host to an extended series of workshops presented by the
SCAE UK. Designed to provide an invaluable resource to everyone working
within the coffee industry, sessions include barista training workshops,
from beginners to advanced, along with an in-depth look into everything
coffee related- from roasting, grinding and brewing, through to menu
planning and coffee bar design. The sessions will be hosted by leading
figures within the specialty coffee industry.
