Software tools automate SATA Gen-2
testing.
TekExpress[TM] SATA, a test suite for Serial ATA (SATA) physical
layer testing, automates 100% of the required SATA Gen-1 and Gen-2
compliance tests for receivers, transmitters, and interconnects. The
test suite runs on TekExpress, a new network test framework built on top
of National Instruments' TestStand test executive, which serves as
the test sequence control engine.
TekExpress provides the elements needed in a compliance test
framework including a graphical user interface, control libraries,
compliance test automation scripts, report generation, instrument
discovery, and test results database management. TekExpress SATA
software orchestrates the instrument setup and control sequences to
execute the 153 SATA Gen-2 tests required by the four SATA-IO approved
Methods of Implementation in less than three hours, representing a 70%
