1,000-V isolation creates 48 separate
instruments.
The TEMPpoint DT9872 is a PC-based instrument that performs direct
RTD measurements. It features instantaneous stabilization, a new
capability needed for WIMAX, semiconductor testing, and bio-analytical
testing applications.

The DT9872 has 48 dedicated 24-bit A/D converters and eight
opto-isolated digital input and output lines for monitoring,
controlling, and driving relays. Simultaneous throughput is across all
channels at rates up to 7.5-Hz/channel. The 2U rack-mountable instrument
provides an RTD temperature range of -200[degrees]C to 850[degrees]C.
The TEMPpoint application software, created with Measure Foundry,
supports a chart recorder to view, analyze, and save all 48 channels;
exports directly to Excel; and can be modified or expanded. The channel
overview includes a digital readout of all 48 channels in one window.
Post-analysis, zoom, and print functions are provided in the file
viewer.
Thermocouple and voltage models for USB and Ethernet (LXI) also are
available. Data Translation, www.rsleads.com/803ee-194
