One of only three existing Jacobean Tudor buildings in the U.S., it
has adopted many guises through the years. Built as a luxury hotel in
1927, this Southern Pines landmark was a training command center in
World War II and has been a hospital, nursing home and office building.
Renovated as The Overlook at Pine Knoll, it now houses apartments and
amenity spaces in a retirement community.
