Ex-Tracts 2008 successful in NY.

The relocation and integration of the Ex-Tracts trade show into the New York International Gift Fair at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, held Feb. 2-6, resulted in a successful draw which received overwhelmingly positive response from both exhibitors and attendees.

"Ex-Tracts continues to be a targeted resource for spa, salon and specialty retailers seeking innovative personal care products and suppliers," said Melissa Engongoro, divisional manager. "With its new Javits Center positioning, it also has become a convenient and accessible cross-category opportunity for gift and home buyers."

With its integration into the gift fair, Ex-Tracts featured not only returning and new personal care resources, but also coalescing of personal care suppliers across the market.

Among the 100 exhibitors were a number of gift fair exhibitors who shifted into Ex-Tracts from other divisions in search of a more targeted group of spa and personal care buyers.
