Detour Gold appoints new VP to lead feasibility
study.
Detour Gold Corporation has announced the appointment of a
vice-president corporate development.
Patrick Donovan will step into his new role with the launch of a
feasibility study of their property, located 140 kilometres northeast of
Cochrane. It is expected to be complete by the end of 2008. He will also
oversee various other business development opportunities for the
company.
Donovan, a geologist, has more than 30 years experience with
mineral exploration and project development.
He was most recently employed by Hunter Dickinson Inc. to manage
the feasibility study of the Xietongmen copper-gold project in China for
Continental Minerals Corporation. He has also worked with Barrick Gold
Corporation and Placer Dome Inc. in various management roles.
