Head of Laurentian's Sport Marketing research institute Olympics-bound.

Having recently stepped into the role of director of Laurentian University's newly-minted Institute for Sport Marketing, Norm O'Reilly is taking his knowledge to the world stage as part of Canada's Beijing 2008 Olympic Mission Team.

O'Reilly, a globally recognized researcher, will be one of 125 members of the mission team who will provide support at the Canada Olympic House.

He will act as administrative officer for the house during the Olympic Games, set to be held in Beijing, China from August 8 to August 24, 2008.

He served in a similar role during the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
