Elementis Specialties groups together the former business of RHEOX, Daniel Products, Systeem Chemie and Serve Condea. Our headquarters located in NJ and managed on global basis. Our products (BENTONE[R], RHEOLATE[R], THIXATROL[R], NUOSPERSE[R], DAPRO[R], SLIP-AYD[R], M-P-A[R] and others) enhance the flow and finish of ink and coatings. The manufacturing facilities include United States, Scotland, The Netherlands, Taiwan and mainland China.

PRODUCTS' SCOPE

We manufacture a wide range of specialty chemical additives encompassing both waterborne and solvent & oil based ink applications. The products include rheological additives, antisettling agents, defoamers, dispersants, wetting agents, surfactants, wax dispersions, surface tension modifiers and other specialty items. We also manufacture a wide range of pigment dispersion and tinting systems for both coatings and inks.

UNIQUE PRODUCTS

BARAGEL[R] 3000 self-activating high performance rheological additive; BENTONE[R] NP-10 easy to disperse organoclay and THIXATROL[R] 18 liquid pourable thickener for offset inks, RHEOLATE CVS[TM] color viscosity stabilizers and NUOSPERSE[R] APE and VOC free wetting agents for waterborne inks and coatings.

R&D CAPABILITIES

Global, in-depth organic synthesis and organoclay development capabilities covering the areas of waterborne and nonaqueous theological additives, surfactants, dispersants, defoamers, slip and leveling aids, flatting aids, and coalescents. In-depth, world class analytical capabilities including XRD, XRF, SEM, HPLC and GLC.

QC CAPABILITIES

We utilize in-depth QC instrumentation and methodologies to effectively monitor all the critical parameters in our production processes. Our analytical labs provide in-depth backup for all our QC processes.

ISO AND ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS

All our manufacturing facilities are either ISO 2001 or 2002 certified. All our manufacturing facilities are kept current with all local and country wide regulations.
