12 weeks to Congress of Cities: advance registration ends September 30.

More than 7,000 participants, including 4,000 delegates, will converge in Orlando, Fla., in just 12 weeks for the Congress of Cities and Exposition. Participantswishing to take advantage of the advance registration rates have until September 30 to register at www.NLCCongressofCities.org.

Advance rates are:

* $500 for NLC City and Associate Members;

* $610 for State Municipal League Members;

* $735 for nonmembers; and

* Ask about student and youth rates.

The 2008 Congress of Cities will feature enhanced professional development and networking opportunities including:
