Legal Track

Given the new U.S. Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, possible changes in the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, and the increasing emphasis on e-discovery, this year's conference offers a full agenda of legal and compliance education. The two-day legal pre-conference covers ethics, conflicts of interest, and records management, primarily in law firms. Sunday--Wednesday's education sessions include such topics as electronic evidence collection, litigation readiness, legal holds, personal data security, SOX-compliant retention, records management's role at the counsel table, a mock trial, and a mini-Sedona conference. Lawyer or not, these sessions will help you understand and prepare for these issues.
