The story "FDA Panel Urges Review of CV Risks of Diabetes
Drugs" (July 15, p. 1) should have stated that people with type 2
diabetes have a two-to fourfold greater risk of cardiovascular
mortality, compared with patients without diabetes.
"Six-Gene Cluster Stratifies Need for Colonoscopy" (July
1, p. 45) should have said that the six-gene panel was 70.3% accurate,
including 127 true-positive, 110 true-negative, 61 false-positive, and
39 false-negative results.
