Valeo's Awarded Windshield Wiper Contract From GM.

Valeo said its U.S. arm had won a contract to supply windshield wipers to General Motors Corp. Valeo declined to put a value on the contract, the unit's first big deal with the world's top carmaker since it resurfaced from insolvency last September.

The unit in Rochester, New York, which emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy last September, will supply windshield wipers for the next generation of GM full-size pick-up trucks, sport utility vehicles and full-size passenger cars.
