Michael Aiello was inspired to start a business when he learned that hackers could use radio frequency identification scanners to steal people's credit card information. After inventing a wallet to keep data safe, Aiello faced a two-fold challenge: Educating consumers about the need for his product, and then getting retail sites, stores and catalogs to sell it.
