In this season of Young Visionaries, we talk to entrepreneurs tackling social, cultural, and environmental goals by harnessing entrepreneurial principles and out-of-the-box thinking to create positive change.
Scott Harrison founded the New York-based charity: water social venture with the premise in mind that dirty, polluted water made people sick. Plus, people in the developing world often have little access even to poor drinking water. The organization is attempting to raise awareness of the issue among people in the developed world and collect donations to help encourage the generation of clean water projects. So far, the organization has raised millions of dollars to help fund thousands of water projects.
See how the organization is growing and maintaining its social vision.
