You're reading Entrepreneur India, an international franchise of Entrepreneur Media.

Kiran Nadar, the Chairperson & Founder of Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts, may be 68 but she has the zeal such as that of a 28-year old.

A woman with many feathers in her hat, Nadar is taking India to the Venice Biennale 2019. It is only the 2nd time in India's history that an Indian contingent is putting up a pavilion at the prestigious art exhibition.

Spearheaded by the Ministry of Culture and co-organised by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, the Indian Pavilion is aimed at showcasing Indian modern and contemporary art on the world stage to an international audience.

In a conversation, Nadar spoke about what is keeping her occupied, her interests and her future plans.

The Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts is a not-for-profit organization that aims to exemplify the dynamic relationship between art and culture through its exhibitions, publications, educational and public programs. It is the first private museum of art exhibiting modern and contemporary work from India and the sub-continent.
