How do I get permission to use a product another company produces?

I'm currently working on a product manual. I have an item that I would like to include with my package (I have a dry erase board and would like to use the companies dry-erase pen). I would tell them that I will buy their pens, and that they would still get free publicity. I would also ask them if they could put my logo on it, but still keep their company name on the pen. How can I go about contacting the comapany and getting the best result?

Simple question.

In this instance you are the customer, so contact the sales department of the company and organize ordering their products (with or without your logo).  Most of us in business on-sell something we buy at wholesale from other companies, so go for it.
