RedBull launches a music-tech startup accelerator, 3rd Ward offers a networking opportunity in , HUB Bay Area helps social treps with PR, startups slay dragons, VCs and treps square off, the gets social, NY Tech Day kicks off, Disrupt unleashes in NYC again, the Webbys wants your votes… This week's notable news and for young treps:

1. RedBull, giving you more than wings: The energy drink powerhouse is launching its first startup accelerator dubbed RedBull Amplifier. Aimed at aspiring music startups, RedBull isn’t taking stake or giving funding. Instead the beverage maker is granting access to its 37 million member social-media base. Startups must apply by today. (April 22)

2. Earth Day: in honor of Mother Earth, Entrepreneur.com offers four ways to green your office. (April 22)

3. Delve into networking with 3rd Ward:  3rd Ward, the Brooklyn, N.Y.-based creative space is hosting the DELVE Networking night. With inspiring presentations by artist Molly Dilworth, along with artists and curators of Parallel Art Space, Rob de Oude and Enrico Gomez and Artsicle's Creative Director Dan Teran. Oh, and did we mention free drinks? (, April 23)

4. PR for social enterprises: HUB Bay Area is lending its PR consultant to the audience for a "rapid fire" session aimed at preparing social enterprises to handle their own publicity and communications. Maximize opportunity and implement tactics used by “mission-minded” companies to create campaigns that effectively reach mainstream consumers. (San Francisco, April 23)

5. Here be dragons? As the theme (Here be dragons) of Berlin's NEXT13 indicates, more than 150 speakers and conference goers should expect a journey through "dangerous or unexplored territories." Though surely mythological creatures aren't on the invite list in actuality, thought leaders like Rackspace's Robert Scoble and physicist Stephen Wolfram are expect to attend. 6. Raising capital, the right way: Watch as two seasoned VCs duke it out with two bootstrapping tech entrepreneurs. This panel discussion is bound to get heated as the participants champion their preference and share the dark side of both. (New York, April 24) 

7. Visual Storytelling: PR Newswire is hosting what's being billed as a high-level, lecture-style event featuring an all-star lineup of multimedia mavens. Guests include John Aylward, vp of marketing for Starbucks's Teavana, and Blair Caplinger, the founder and creative principal at Telling Media. Learn how to capture customer attention through multimedia. (Atlanta, April 24)

8. The SBA gets social: The U.S. Small Business Administration is hosting a free online webinar focused on building an engaging and effective social-media plan. Build positive relationships with customers, reach new markets and maximize your returns. (Online, April 24)

9. NY Tech Day: With 400 startups and 10,000 attendees, NY Tech Day is being billed as "the world's largest startup event." (The inaugural event was so popular, it apparently sold out.) If you've never been to this event, the scene probably isn't all that unfamiliar. Remember your eighth grade science fair? Yep, it's a lot like that but with tech startups showcasing their wares. (NYC, April 25)

10. Disrupt New York: TechCrunch Disrupt is back in the Big Apple. One of the year’s most anticipated tech events, Disrupt has a unique lineup of activities from hackathons to its ‘Startup Battlefield’ competition. Plus, big announcements tend to come out at the event. (New York, April 27 - May 1)

11. Calling all web-savvy citizens: The 17th annual Webby Awards is calling all internet users to voice their choice for the best sites, mobile apps, online media, interactive advertising and social projects. The goal? Acknowledging excellence in interactive content. Voting closes on April 25, and the winners will be announced on April 30. (April 25)
