Steph Korey
Co-Founder and CEO of Away
Steph Korey is the founder of Away, a lifestyle brand she established in 2015. Within five years, Away was valued at $1.4 billion; it was named Fast Company’s “World’s Most Innovative Companies” twice since its founding. Previously, Korey worked at Warby Parker leading product development, manufacturing and fulfillment. She was also a merchandise strategy consultant for Casper, the ecommerce mattress company. Korey has a BA in International Relations from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School. In 2016, Korey was named one of the Forbes “30 Under 30” for Retail and Ecommerce. As an entrepreneur and early stage investor, Korey works to encourage and inspire other creators and innovators with a focus on founders from underrepresented backgrounds.
