How President Bush's second term agenda will affect you
In President George W. Bush's second term, business ownerscan expect a carry-over of his earlier tax themes: He'll pushto make his income tax cuts permanent, pursue a permanent repeal ofthe estate tax, and back an expansion of health savingsaccounts.
The first two have a limited impact on small businesses, though.Indeed, about half of small companies will receive between $0 and$500 from the tax cuts enacted in 2003, according to the Center onBudget and Policy Priorities, a think tank in Washington, DC, whilethe estate tax repeal primarily benefits the wealthiest.
