PRO-Net, the SBA'sProcurement Marketing and Access Network, is a decade-oldgovernment contracting program that provides more than 210,000vendors and companies with visibility to a variety of governmentagencies and even other companies, explains Arthur E. Collins Jr.,assistant administrator for operations and program support in theSBA's Office of Government Contracting and BusinessDevelopment. The network is designed for small businesses that areindependently owned and operated-not companies that are considereddominant providers in their markets.
