Evolve Your 'Why.' Find Your Purpose. There are four levels of 'why.' Here's how to reach the highest level.

In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Patrick Bet-David discusses the four levels of your "why" and how it evolves over time.

Survival, status, freedom and purpose are the key steps of "why." Ultimately, "purpose" is the highest level of someone's "why" -- many people never reach it. Being lazy and afraid and having trouble processing issues are reasons many people never achieve this final level.

"Survival," which is simply having a job or making money for the sole purpose of surviving, is the lowest level of a "why." From there, "status" -- for example, having nice things or making a certain amount of money -- is often the next step up, followed by "freedom" -- making money to have breathing room.
