Unless your business involves some type of real-life gaming, creating an entire online game about your company most likely won't be the best use of your resources. Instead, gamification expert Gabe Zichermann says simply adding game elements such as badges, points, challenges and rewards can increase engagement. "Game mechanics make gamification compelling, not the look of a game," he says.
