How Women Entrepreneurs Differ From Men

In the latest season of Project Grow, we talk to experts about the challenges of growing a business.

Women own nearly a third of all businesses, but bring in only 4 percent of all U.S. revenue. In the grand scheme of things, women -- who received the right to business credit in their own names in 1974 -- are relatively new to entrepreneurship, says Nell Merlino, founder of Count Me In. Some women have purposely kept their businesses small to manage their families, she says. Women are increasingly realizing that with a bigger entreprise, they can better lead the life they want, she says.
