Building a Market and a Vision for a New Kind of Tea

In this season of Young Visionaries, we talk to entrepreneurs tackling social, cultural, and environmental goals by harnessing entrepreneurial principles and out-of-the-box thinking to create positive change.

Dan MacCombie, the co-founder of Runa, describes his vision for starting up a different kind of tea company. In addition, to using the guayusa leaf instead more traditional tealeaves, MacCombie is helping support the indigenous Amazonian farmers who grow and harvest the crop by way of the Runa Foundation. The company also invests in ecological projects in the Amazon.

See how the company is growing the business and maintaining its social vision.
