Offering compelling rewards can be a critical determinant of whether or not your crowdfunding campaign sustains its shareability and buzz, says Sally Outlaw, co-founder and CEO of Peerbackers, a consulting firm.

But fulfilling rewards can also be a total time and money suck -- which is why it’s smart to kill two birds with one stone. “So if you’re an artist,” Outlaw suggests, “maybe one of the rewards is to invite your backers into your studio while you paint.”
